4 Days Classic Xian Shanghai Tour

Day 1 Arrive in Xian (L)
Arrive in Xian in the morning. Be met by tour guide at the arrival hall of Xian airport and transferred to hotel.
After lunch, have city tour to Shaanxi History Museum, a first-rate national museum in China, and Ancient City Wall where you can stroll or cycle (extra cost) on the top for panorama of the city.
Enjoy the gorgeous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show in the evening.

Day 2 Xian-Shanghai (B, L)
Today you are able to see face to face the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, the “life-size underground army” which has guarded the tomb of the first Chinese emperor for more than 2,000 years. Besides, vist the Bell Tower, the emblem of Xian city, and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the grandest Buddhist buildings in China.
Fly to Shanghai after the tour. Upon arrival, airport to hotel transfer in Shanghai.

Day 3 (B, L)
One full day exploration in this world famous international metropolis. We will visit the highlights sites in Shanghai, including the Bund, the former foreign settlement where lies imposing buildings of different foreign styles; Nanjing Road, famed as the first commercial street in China; Yu Garden, a beautiful private garden of a Chinese official in the Ming Dynasty; Yu Market, where sells interesting local things; Jade Buddha Temple, famous for the two big jade Buddha statues imported from Burma; Oriental Pearl TV Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the world, standing 468 m high by the Huangpu River.

Day 4 (B) Depart Shanghai
Free at leisure until being transferred to the airport for the flight to your next destination.

Be transferred to Xian airport from your hotel; fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival, transfer you from airport to Shanghai hotel.
Today’s activities include Yuyuan Garden, a classic South China garden with rockeries, pavilions, ponds and corridors; Jade Buddha Temple, a very popular Buddhist temple among local people; the Shanghai World Financial Center for a bird’s view of Shanghai.

Day 2 Depart Shanghai (B, L)
Drive to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town from your hotel. Zhujiajiao Ancient Town is a famous water town of hundreds of years of history. You will visit four scenic spots: Tongtianhe ancient pharmacy, the historic Post Office, Yuanjin Temple and Kezhi Garden. You will also take a cruise on the river through the town.

Day 1 Xian-Shanghai

Day 2 Shanghai (B, L)
Visit Shanghai Museum which is thought as the best museum in China with stunning collections. Head to the beautiful Yuyuan Garden in the center of Shanghai old quarters and the popular worshipped Jade Buddha Temple. Then ascend the tall Oriental Pearl TV Tower for a panorama of the city.

Day 3 Shanghai-Suzhou (B, L)
Pick up from hotel and transfer to the train station where you take bullet train to Suzhou. Upon arrival be met by our Suzhou local guide.
Suzhou is famous for delicate South China classic gardens and we will visit two representatives-Humble Administrators Garden and Lion Grove. More, we will take a cruise on the Grand Canal which is the longest man-made waterway in the world, and then travel through the old streets & Hutongs in Suzhou by rickshaw ride to see local people’s life.

Day 4 Suzhou-Hangzhou (B, L)
Hotel pickup and travel to Hangzhou by train. Hangzhou is heavenly beautiful. In the city we will visit its most famous attraction-the West Lake. Besides, we see Lingyin Temple, one of the most important and wealthist Buddhist temples in China, and the Meijiawu Tea Planation among lush green hills, where visitors can have a tea culture experience by seeing tea picking and processing.

Day 5 Hangzhou-Xian (B)
